Elizabeth Blackwell; the first woman to become a doctor and graduate from medical school in the United States. She became the leader for women in the healthcare field. She also opened schools and practices in multiple countries. She left behind such a legacy that women all over the world admire her for. She was so determined to reach her final goal, to complete medical school. She faced many challenges and was not respected by her peers but overtime as she kept strong during these challenges the men started to give her their respect. After graduating she created a legacy that would impact many women and children.
